We are a group of 6 friends (Samantha Seah, Samantha Fok, Deborah Tan, Cheryl Ang, Natasha Madhavan, Tyron Tham) currently studying at Anglo Chinese Junior College who share a common interest in fashion. Throughout the past few years, we have been actively participating in Community Involvement Projects (CIP) organized by our various secondary schools as well as our present college. When we heard of self-initiated CIP we felt that there couldn't be a better way for us to infuse CIP together with our interest. Furthermore, being our last year in JC, we wanted to be able to plan a meaningful last project together, as a group. Many of us are involved in the performing arts arena in school and all of us have a great deal of passion and enthusiasm for the things we do. We take pride in our work and strive to be the best in all that we do. In addition, we have planned and participated in numerous school and outside events and believe that the exposure we have received will provide us with the experience and confidence to handle such a large-scale event. With our idea in mind, we consulted many teachers, friends, and relevant organizations for their feedback and input. After much discussion and brainstorming, we decided to go ahead as planned. Only together with the help of numerous volunteers who have so kindly offered their expertise in areas related to fashion and the events planning industry, have we been able to make this project possible. We believe it is our responsibility to do our part for the less fortunate. Through the years, we have been acquainted with friends who are victims of drug abuse. This gave us the impetus to extend our concern to other youths in the effort to raise awareness of the consequences of drug abuse. Support Our Cause. Everyone deserves a second chance.
